Hello, Again, Hello

Aside from quoting Neil Diamond lyrics, life has been hot and crazy.

Our weather has been full of wild storms and incredible heat. I don't want to complain too much though. There have been many parts of the country being hit much harder than us. I guess whatever you are dealing with at the time is the most real.

It was over 100 degrees today and pretty damn muggy. So muggy that the USPS didn't deliver the mail until 8:00 this evening. If this is a sign of things to come, we're in trouble pal. It is only the 9th of June and the weather report is consistently nasty. Oh, yea, I can't wait for the searing heat blasting out of my car door in August. Bring it on.

My HVAC unit in my bedroom is running lame. It is keeping time with Big Brown the last few days. Doesn't it always seem that as soon as you get ahead, something like this needs replacing. Here is hoping I won't have to sleep on the couch too frequently during the summer.

I am looking forward to school closing down this year. Overall, it has been the best year yet. Nothing over the top, nothing exceptionally bad, just nice and balanced. LOVE IT. Nonetheless, being out on break is looking smooth to me. A little staying up late for Letterman and Oprah reruns. A little sleeping in and, well, wasting the early part of the day like a drunk on payday.

Another whoop-dee-doo goal of mine is to rearrange all 5 closets I have and throw out have the junk that is in them. Too much STUFF, just too much STUFF. Beyond that, I want to do some writing so I can turn it in for my grade and get on with the next, and final, class in order to get a little salary bump.

Well, I know it isn't the most exciting entry and I am okay with that. Sometimes you need to be low profile so that the good times look gooder.
